Background: Stunting is a condition where the body length or height of the child is not appropriate for their age. Dental caries is a multifactorial disease that affects dental hard tissue starting with the process of demineralization of the tooth layer. Stunting can disrupt oral cavity development, leading to dental caries in children due to decreased salivary flow and pH and tooth structure abnormalities.
